Program
A proof of the 2013-14 basketball program was shared and approved.  The program should be printed by the end of the week with copies available at Tuesday, January 21's game.  This year each basketball family will receive a free copy of the program and then they will be sold for $1 at games to avoid waste of programs.  We received $1,000 from sponsors for this year's program.  Thank yous will be sent to these sponsors.

Pasta Dinner
The booster club will be providing a pasta dinner for all the basketball players on Thursday, January 16 after practice.  The dinner will be held in the cafeteria.

Coaching DVD
Coach Tohm proposed the purchase of a coaching DVD (Rick Torbin - Read and React) which he would use at the high school level as well as share with the youth programs to incorporate the same teachings amongst all the programs.  The cost of the DVD is $250 and was approved for purchase by the booster club.

Almuni Game
The alumni game was a success with 20 guys participating in the game.  Coach Tohm would like to make this an even bigger and better event next year.

Scorer's Table
The artwork for the table has been completed, the deposit was sent in and work has begun on the new scorer's is table.  They are hoping to have the table done by the end of January or first of February.  Along with the contribution from the boys basketball program, donations of $500 have been received from the girls basketball team, ARAA youth program and Anoka High School.  The wrestling and volleyball teams have indicated that they will also be donating to the cost of the new table.

Coaches v. Cancer and Youth Night
The Coaches v. Cancer basketball game will be January 30 against Blaine.  Troy Beckman from State Farm has graciously offered to sponsor this event.  We will be having pink tshirts printed and selling prior to game.  The game will be a 'pink out' and are trying to get many people at this event to help support the American Cancer Society.  Those attending the game who bring a non-perishable food donation will receive $1 off their admission and all food items will be donated to the Anoka Hennepin food shelf.  Youth basketball members wearing their jersey to the game will get in free. Many exciting events are being planned to raise money and the highlight is the $5,000 half court shot at halftime.  Randy Dopler has been in touch with Blaine and they are on board in support of this event as well.  All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Parent Night
Parent night will be held on February 11.  Jim Trewin has agreed to take photos of each player and their parents.  The freshman teams will have a reception immediately following their games.  The 10th, JV and varsity players and their parents will be introduced prior to the varsity game.  Photos will be taken and refreshments will be provided.

Senior Night
Senior night will be Febuary 21.  Dave De Jong has agreed to take picture of the senior players and their parents. Gifts for the senior players are being decided.

End of Year Banquet
The banquet will be held on March 24 a the Fountains of Ramsey.  Derrick Grow is working on the details on cost of the event.

Budget
The budget was reviewed and approved.
